Lenovo launches Vibe K5 and K5 Plus affordable smartphones at MWC 2016
Lenovo is taking full advantage of the MWC 2106. In addition to affordable TAB3 Android tablets, Windows 10 hybrids, the company has now unveiled two new budget smartphones - Vibe K5 Plus and K5. The smartphones are priced at $150 and $130, which roughly translates to Rs 10,300 and Rs 8,900 respectively.

Let's take a look on the smartphones.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus, which is the international variant of the Lemon 3 smartphone launched in the Chinese market last year flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920x1080 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card.

In terms of imaging, the smartphone features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera for video calling. It is backed by a 2,750mAh removable battery and has dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth as connectivity options.

The smartphone has a metallic body and also integrates DOLBY Atmos audio technology, which is becoming a standard feature in Lenovo smartphone.

Lenovo Vibe K5

Coming on to the younger sibling- Vibe K5, the smartphone features a 5-inch HD (1280x720 pixels) display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 octa-core CPU. It gets support of 2GB RAM for multitasking and packs in the similar camera units (13MP rear and 5MP front). The smartphone comes with 16GB inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card. It is also backed by the same 2,750mAh battery unit.

Lenovo is also expected to launch the Lemon 3 Plus at MWC 2016, which was teased on company's official Twitter handle last week. As per the leaks, the smartphone comes with an all metallic design and also packs in Dolby Atmos audio technology.
