Royal Enfield Himalayan 410cc Scrambler Launch Soon; Expected Price – 1.65-1.85 Lacs [Pics And Details]
Royal Enfield enjoys quite a cult following in India. Models like the Classic and the Bullet have achieved stellar success and a huge fan following. Other than having established a strong foothold in India, the manufacturer has also fared pretty well in the export markets. Currently, Royal Enfield is in the process of expanding its product portfolio, which could lead to a considerable boost in sales in both domestic and export markets. The manufacturer has been regular with updating its products and launched the all-new Continental GT 535 Cafe Racer here in 2013. From the looks of it, Royal Enfield doesn’t have an exciting new product offensive for 2015, but 2016 could turn out to be a very important year for the popular motorcycle brand. If rumours are to be believed, the manufacturer intends to come up with two new engines, both of which are likely to make their debut on new motorcycles. The Himalayan Scrambler has been under development for some time now and the new spy pics show test mules that seem very close to production.

The upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 410cc scrambler was recently spied testing by our friends at MotorVikatan. From what can be made out, the Himalayan would be an adventure bike with at least some off-road capabilities. As revealed by the spy pic, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 410cc scrambler will feature a GT525-like front mudguard, spoke wheels, disc brakes with steel braided brake lines, black-painted engine, raised handlebar, an ever-so-slightly upswept exhaust, round-shaped headlight and round-shaped rear view mirrors. Price
It is being said that the Royal Enfield Himalayan price will be kept between INR 1.65 lacs to 1.85 lacs (ex-showroom). An insider is said to have said,“The management has decided that the Himalayan will not be priced above the psychological barrier of Rs 2 lakh, because once that is crossed, customers do not hesitate to move on to products which are priced even at the Rs 3 lakh or Rs 3.75-4 lakh range. Royal Enfield bikes have been selling in large volumes and the management is very clear that the Himalayan should attract customers like the way all Royal Enfield motorcycles do. So the price will be very competitive,”
