The new model 2016 Audi A4, which has already been spotted testing in India on a couple of occasions, has just been revealed by its manufacturer. The world premiere of this car is scheduled to take place at the Frankfurt Auto show in September this year. The new model 2016 Audi A4 could be launched in India next year, and will come to us via CKD route. The new Audi A4 follows the same design language as seen on the new Audi TT, Audi R8, Audi Q7, which, in turn are all inspired by the Prologue Concept.The new generation A4 sedan has best-in-class drag co-efficient of 0.23. Not much is known about the new car’s features list, but safely expect it to come with a new MMI touch-screen interface, Audi’s Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster projected onto a 12.3 inch LCD, a high-end Bang & Olufsen Sound System with 3D surround-sound, and a head-up display. The car also gets optional LED or Matrix headlamps with dynamic turn indicators. The car can be hooked up to Apple or Andriod devices and this feature will be standard across the range. By reducing the drag coefficient, Audi has also managed to bring down the cabin noise levels significantly.
The new model 2016 Audi A4 is based on the second-generation of the company’s MLB platform, which basically means it will be bigger than the car it replaces and lighter by around a 100kg.
The recently launched Mercedes C-Class has set the benchmark in this segment and the baby S-Class will be hard to match, let alone beat. But Audi has the capability to do it and they will surely be working hard on the A4 as the sedan is a product of huge significance not only in international markets, but India as well.

The new model 2016 Audi A4 will get a set of TFSI and TDI motors. The cleanest of the lot will have CO2 emissions of only 95 g/km, and the company claims that the motors will be as much as 21 percent more frugal than the current engines for the A4. The range-topper will be a six-cylinder TDI motor that will boast of a peak power output of 272 hp. Transmission options will comprise of – 6-speed manual, 7-speed S-Tronic and 8-speed Tiptronic gearboxes.
