Mansory Modifies the Tesla Model S
Whatever you think of Mansory,
you have to at least credit the tuning group with creating cars that
are visually striking. Continuing their unrelenting assault on staid
sensibilities, Mansory's designers recently breathed their outrageous
sense of automotive style onto the all-electric Tesla Model S.
The new Mansory-ified Tesla Model S
sheds a few pounds thanks to new carbon fiber body panels and
accoutrement. Mansory did not specify which panels have been replaced,
but it appears as though the front and rear bumper fascias have been
completely redesigned, with a new aggressive appearance and modified
grille inserts. New side skirts have been added, along with new mirror
caps. New 22-inch custom wheels are fitted, with green accents matching
the additional green highlights present on both the inside and outside
of the sedan.
Move to the
interior, and the immediate black-and-green contrasts will knock you
back a few steps. Acid-green interior accents, including sections of the
steering wheel, piping around the leather surfaces, and a section of
the dashboard are included in the Mansory Tesla package, as well as new
aluminum pedals.
Mansory is far
from the first tuner to release a package for the popular Model S.
Saleen, for instance, has already created the performance-minded GTX, which we drove alongside the insane Model S P85D in California.
No
pricing information has been publicly released as of yet, but knowing
Mansory, expect plenty of zeros at the end of the sticker price.
