Design & Style

The Kawasaki Versys 650 has the same front aggressive styling used by the bike maker in its race bikes, with a difference in the front forks, which provide longer movement at the front. The side brings a semi naked structure, with an attractive exhaust positioning and comfortable looking seating position. Truly saying, it looks perfectly sharp and equally massive.

Engine & Performance

The expected performance is said to stay same, with some chances for that to vary due to the quality of fuel available. The 649 cc, twin cylinder engine produces 68.1 BHP @ 8500 rpm and 64 NM @ 7000 rpm. The values would be equally useful on smooth roads for speeding and off-road for better acceleration. The six-geared machine comes with liquid cooling and fuel injection.

Braking & Suspension

The Versys 650 is an effective motorcycle with loads of safety added to it. Kawasaki offers dual semi-floating ø300 mm petal discs for the front whereas a single ø250 mm petal disc for the rear. An advanced setup of ø41 mm inverted telescopic fork with adjustable rebound damping (right-side) and adjustable preload (left-side) has been used for the front and offset laydown single-shock with remote spring preload adjustability for the rear.

Comfort While Riding

With its extra traveling shock absorbers and straight seating position, the Versys 650 is a power packed performer. Its design being aerodynamic secures most of its power from fighting the wind. The 120/70-R17 and 160/60-R17 tires results in a well gripped ride every time and its huge 21 litre tank makes long rides easier than ever. It weighs at 214 kg, with a heart breaking seat height of 840 mm.

Shades & Expected Price

Kawasaki is expected to offer Pearl Stardust White, Pearl Spark Black and Pearl Shining Yellow as the shades and the expected price being INR 5,75,000-6,00,000 (approx., may vary).
